Big Picture – A Deep Dive Examination of Maverix Metals Inc

Maverix Metals Inc Snapshot

ROYALTIES
Providing an upfront payment in return for the right to receive a percentage of future revenue generated from a mining operation

STREAMS
Providing an upfront payment in return for the right to purchase all or a fixed percentage of future gold or silver production generated from a mine at a pre-determined $/oz price

The upfront fixed cost of royalties and streams reduces the future risks of ongoing capital and operating costs by offering its shareholders both capital and operating cost certainty. Maverix supports the financing of mine operations by providing an advance payment, which can be used to fund expansion, development or exploration, without having to get directly involved in the process. This allows Maverix to hold a diverse asset base, retain significant leverage to precious metals prices and be exposed to unlimited upside exploration and expansion potential, with limited downside risk.

Maverix holds a diverse portfolio of 79 royalties and streams across 15 countries, of which 11 of the underlying mines are currently producing. The assets are located predominantly throughout Australia and the Americas, including a number in Mexico. Maverix is focused on assets that are in mining friendly jurisdictions, primarily precious metals focused, have increasing cash flow and are owned by strong operating partners. The portfolio of royalties and streams that has been assembled provides a solid, cash-generating foundation for Maverix to continue to grow upon.
