Mercantile Ports and Logistics Ltd

Mercantile Ports and Logistics (MPL) was established to develop, own and operate port and logistics facilities in India. Its maiden project is the development of a world class multipurpose terminal and logistics facility at Karanja creek in the Raigad District of Maharashtra. The port is being developed over 200 acres of land with a sea frontage of 1,000 metres at Karanja Creek. The port is in the heart of the commercial capital of India, and acts as the gateway to eight land locked states in the country. The facility has access to State and National highways and is near to India’s largest and most congested container port, the Jawaharal Nehru Port (JNPT). The multi-purpose terminal is designed to accommodate a variety of cargoes including containers, bulk, break-bulk cargo and Ro-Ro (roll-on/roll/off).
