In January 2024, Discovery Alaska announced that it has executed a binding mining lease agreement with Doyon Limited for the Vinasale Gold Project in Alaska, USA, comprising ~6,500 hectares which is located ~310km northwest of Anchorage and ~26km south of McGrath.
