Discovery Africa (ASX:DAF) has executed an exclusive option agreement providing until 31 March 2014 to complete due diligence on a graphite project in Uganda, Africa.
The total cost of the option is USD$50,000, with a payment of USD$25,000 to be paid immediately and the final USD$25,000 at the conclusion of the due diligence phase.
The exploration due diligence will begin around the 10 January 2014 with a geological team to be provided full access to the mine site, and to engage local labour obtain trenching samples as directed.
Further details will be provided following this site visit and initial exploration.
Discovery is currently focused on its Area 51 graphite project in Namibia, and recently executed a memorandum of understanding regarding a separate acquisition of 6 lithium mining claims in the country.
