Kendrick Resources encouraged by latest Teufelskuppe drill results

Kendrick Resources PLC (LSE:KEN) has reported further drilling results from its Teufelskuppe rare earth project, including an intercept of 3.05% light rare earth oxides over 37.9 metres, giving encouragement for the project's future.

The latest assays cover four additional diamond holes across the TK3, TK4 and TK5 mineralised sills. Hole TKDD007 returned 2.33% LREO over 31.58m, including 3.12% over 5.5m, while TKDD009 intersected 2.51% over 16.4m, including 2.92% over 3.67m.

TKDD005 recorded 2.71% LREO over 8.42m, including 3.0% over 5.47m. Kendrick said the results add further data demonstrating continuity and consistent grades across the Teufelskuppe carbonatite complex.

Chairman Colin Bird said the results supported the company's push to “build a mineral resource and establish a processing flow sheet at the earliest possible opportunity”.

Kendrick is continuing diamond and reverse-circulation drilling to establish the depth and subsurface extent of the mineralisation, while verification of its in-house resource estimate and work to upgrade it to JORC 2012 compliance have begun.
