ACG Metals Ltd (LSE:ACG, OTC:ACGAF) has produced its first copper concentrate at the Gediktepe operation in Türkiye, marking its transition into a copper producer.
The milestone was achieved on 31 August 2026.
Commissioning at the site is progressing as planned, with the operation now entering the ramp-up phase.
ACG said its focus is on increasing throughput, optimising plant performance and progressing towards full production by the end of 2026.
Chairman and chief executive Artem Volynets said the achievement reflected the dedication and execution capability of the company's employees, contractors and partners.
Volynets said it had been delivered safely and within budget.
He said the priority now was a disciplined ramp-up, with throughput and recoveries increasing progressively while maintaining consistent concentrate quality.
Volynets said the company looked forward to reporting further progress as commissioning continues.
