Tivan Ltd (ASX:TVN) has secured the final regulatory and heritage approvals needed to begin maiden drilling at Walshy’s Wall, a manganese-barite gossan within its Sandover Fluorite Project in the Northern Territory, with Stage One drilling targeted to start in October.

The planned reverse circulation (RC) program will test a more than 1-kilometre-long gossan where previous rock-chip sampling returned grades of up to 44.8% manganese, alongside elevated copper, beryllium and tungsten. Ultra-high-grade fluorite of up to 98.4% CaF2 was also identified in the same outcrop.

The result comes from the 180-metre gross Kulpara Dolomite interval at Ramsay 2, around 500 metres from Ramsay 1, where helium was successfully flowed to surface and separated.
