Infill drilling confirms excellent continuity of mineralised widths and grades and extensional drilling indicates the mineralisation remains open for further expansion to the east, west and at depth.
Azure Minerals is seeking to rapidly expand its tenure at the Barton Gold Project in the gold-rich Kookynie greenstone belt of Western Australia, intending to add an additional 819 square kilometres to the project.
The multi-element explorer has embarked on an initial, 3,000-metre reverse circulation campaign at its wholly-owned Barton asset, where it’s targeting gold mineralisation at the Daisy Corner prospect.

The ongoing global electrification and decarbonisation revolution means the future demand outlook for the high-value, clean and green battery metals - nickel and copper - is solid and exciting.

Due to the ongoing success of the VC-07 drill program, Azure has further increased the scale of the resource drill-out, with completion now expected by the end of 2021 and release of the maiden mineral resource estimate in 2022.
Drilling also continues to intersect shallower sulphide mineralisation in the upper part of the VC-07 East deposit with massive sulphides intersected at VC-07 West returning high-grade nickel assays.
