1911 Gold Corporation CEO Shaun Heinrichs joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss new assay results from the company’s underground resource expansion drilling program at the True North Gold Project in southeastern Manitoba, highlighting continued success in extending mineralization beyond the current resource estimate.
The latest results include eight underground diamond drill holes totaling 2,955 metres, focused on testing the potential connection between the L10 Zone and the larger 710-711 Zone, both of which lie outside the boundaries of the current mineral resource estimate.
Heinrichs said the drilling campaign was conducted from Level 16 of the mine and was specifically designed to test extensions of the L10 vein system while confirming its relationship with the 710-711 vein complex at depth. The results further support management’s view that the two systems are connected and may form part of a larger mineralized structure with significant resource expansion potential.
One of the standout intercepts came from hole UG16-26-072, which returned 10.73 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 8.90 metres, beginning at a downhole depth of 245.30 metres. Within that interval, the company intersected 16.12 g/t gold over 5.40 metres, including a particularly high-grade section of 49.50 g/t gold over 0.80 metres.
According to Heinrichs, the results successfully confirmed the continuation of gold mineralization beyond the limits of the 2024 Mineral Resource Estimate and demonstrated that the veins linking the L10 Zone to the larger 710-711 system remain well mineralized at depth.
The resource expansion program has now completed a total of 20 drill holes spanning 6,563 metres on the L10 target area. Of those, 11 drill holes have successfully confirmed the L10/710-711 Complex Link, providing growing evidence that the mineralized systems may represent a larger and more continuous gold-bearing structure than previously understood.
The ongoing exploration campaign is designed not only to expand resources beyond the current estimate but also to evaluate the broader potential of several new discoveries across the True North property. The results from this drilling program are expected to play a key role in the company’s upcoming global mineral resource estimate, which is scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Heinrichs noted that additional assay results remain pending from both resource expansion drilling and ongoing infill and delineation programs. Those results will be released as they become available and are expected to provide further insight into the scale and continuity of mineralization across the project.
