Azure Minerals director demonstrates faith in company through on-market share purchase

The latest seven holes drilled at Azure’s Andover Nickel-Copper Project all intersected broad zones of nickel-copper mineralisation within a highly prospective mineralised corridor.

Azure Minerals Ltd (ASX:AZS) non-executive director Peter Ingram has demonstrated his faith in the company’s nickel-copper-cobalt strategy with the on-market purchase of shares.

On June 29, Ingram acquired 250,000 shares in an indirect interest for a total value of $59,396.

The number of securities held in that interest after the change increased to more than 1 million.

Broad nickel-copper zones

Earlier this month, the company hit further broad zones of nickel-copper sulphides during exploration at its Andover project in Western Australia’s Pilbara region.

Seven holes drilled across the VC-07 West and VC-07 East prospects, situated within the VC-07 mineralised corridor, intersected broad zones of sulphide mineralisation.

The latest seven holes form part of a broader, 30,000-metre exploration program, announced in January this year, aimed at defining a mineral resource within the VC-07 corridor.

So far, Azure has completed 49 diamond drill holes, covering nearly 22,000 metres, along Andover’s flagship mineralised corridor and the VC-23 prospect.
