Water will be accessed from the existing Stirling Trunk Main pipeline about 3.5 kilometres from the project, which will initially produce about 4.4 million kilograms of green hydrogen per annum.
The company has appointed global engineering firm GHD to carry out the study, which is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter.
“Our Expansion Study indicates the potential for lower cost of green hydrogen production through economies of scale and world class infrastructure in the area," Frontier Energy chair Grant Davey said.

Frontier’s PFS shows Bristol Springs could be one of the nation’s lowest-cost green hydrogen producers thanks to its proximity to critical infrastructure.
