Frontier Energy Ltd (ASX:FHE) is now trading the OTCQX® market in the United States under the ticker symbol on FRHYF.
This secondary listing was done to give North American investors better visibility and accessibility to the company, with the listing allowing potential North American investors to trade and settle during US trading hours in US dollars.
The OTC provides live market trading in companies which hold primary listings in other markets. There were no additional compliance or regulatory standards over and above FHE’s existing compliance requirements on the ASX that it needed to meet.
Executive chairman Grant Davey said: “North America provides the world’s largest pool of investors and from my experience OTC is the simplest and most cost-effective way, for both the company and these investors, to buy shares in their own time zone and currency.
“With a number of key studies nearing completion at a time when the world needs renewable energy solutions more than ever before, this is promising to be an exciting year for the company.”
The listing comes just a day after FHE secured exclusive options to increase its landholding at the Bristol Springs Solar (BSS) Project in Western Australia’s southwest, with the company poised to add another 651 hectares to its land package.
