Aside from Chancellor George Osborne's statement and the UK macro picture, a big small cap story of the day came from tungsten explorer W Resources, which has been granted development approval for its La Parrilla tungsten mine in Spain.
“Falcon is uniquely placed in this challenging oil price environment with its strong cash position, fully funded drilling programme and high quality assets,” says chief executive Philip O’Quigley.
