Risers and fallers, including IAG, Sainsbury's and Eckoh

Here are some of the significant share movers as at 9.15am today....

Here are some of the main movers as at 1.15pm:

RISERS

Eckoh (LON:ECK) added 2.96% to 44.75p as the secure payments group accelerates US growth plans with the US$5.6mln acquisition of Product Support Solutions (PSS).

The deal, which is being financed via an existing bank facility, gives it a significant footprint Stateside where it was already gaining traction, although PSS is also active in Australia and here in the UK.

Breedon Aggregates (LON:BREE) added 4.76% to 63.25p as the firm unveiled plans to acquire Hope Construction for £336mln from a firm jointly run by the Mittal family.

The cash, debt and paper deal sees the group move into the cement market, while expanding its UK footprint.

Supermarket Sainsburys (LON:SBRY) added 2.54% to 254.70p as it overtakes Asda to become the UK's second latest grocer but is also warned that discounters like Aldi are to be feared, according to research. Sales of Judith Kerr's latest Mog outing are also doing well.

FALLERS

High Street darling Next (LON:NXT) fell 1.27% to 7,760p as it emerged that retail footfall fell in October.

Airline giant and BA operator IAG (LON:IAG) flew 2.62% lower to 576p as fears on terror means travel firms to go lower. Carnival (LON:CCL) also shed 3,427P.

Under the cosh parcel courier UK Mail (LON:UKM) plunged over 10% to 325p after pre-tax profit dropped by more than half and the group warned on profits for next year.

RISERS

Hikma Pharmaceuticals (LON:HIK), up 2.76% to 2,007p as the group put concerns raised by the powerful US FDA on environmental issues at its Portugal plant.

In FTSE250, steel making group Evraz (LON:EVR) was lifted 4.66% to 84.15p as it continues to claw back gains after a rocky six months on continued worries over Chinese growth and the steel industry globally.

Falcon Oil & Gas (LON:FOG, CVE:FO) gushed around 7% higher as it revealed it had completed a successful horizontal well in Australia.

FALLERS

UK supermarket chain Morrisons ( LON:MRW) slid 1.41% to 153.4p as new data showed a decline in footfall for October and on the back of the firm's recent disappointing like-for-like sales numbers.

Engineer Rolls Royce (LON:RR.) sees its woes at the motor car side continue as the problems at jet engine maker Rolls-Royce Plc damages the image of luxury cars, according to the boss. Shares eased 1.71% to 545.5p.

ECR Minerals (LON:ECR) slipped around 19% as it emerged the junior mining firm was to become an investee of Metal Tiger (LON:MTR) portfolio of mining juniors.

Metal Tiger is to subscribe for £100,000 worth of shares out of a placing to raise £250,000 at 0.02p per share, giving it a 7.5% stake.
