There's lot going on in the world to keep up with and media broadcast giant Sky (LON:SKY) is determined to bring the idea that you don't have to miss anything into the living room.
Its new Q entertainment system, unveiled today, allows for what's called "fluid viewing" so people can watch programmes across a number of screens.
It will reportedly allow up to four simultaneous downloads of TV shows - whilst watching a fifth - and can "supercharge" the broadband around the home.
Sky Q combines set-top boxes, hubs and apps that combine satellite and internet TV viewing. So in a world where immediacy appears to be everything, it could just be the ticket.

As mining firms bounced back a little, also in focus once more was the UK's energy landscape with news Britain is set to close its remaining coal-fired power stations in the next decade.
Ministers reportedly plan to replace them with gas-fired and nuclear power stations, which has not gone down well with renewable campaigners.
Currently, coal provides almost a third (28%) of the UK's electricity.
In trading news today, investors in Softcat (LON:SCT), the group which resells software from the likes of Apple and Microsoft, will be upbeat as shares advanced further as full trading of the shares began on Wednesday.
Conditional dealings began on November 13 and rose to 280p a share having been priced at 240p.
Today, they nudged up further to 282p each as all 196mln shares began trading.
It continues a run of high value UK tech listings in recent months.
To the more traditional resource sector, and traders in Falcon Oil & Gas’s (LON:FOG, CVE:FO) are also cheerinbg rapid progress in its Australian shale venture with the completion of a successful horizontal well.
Falcon shares added over 7% to 7.625p on the day.
Breedon Aggregates (LON:BREE) added over 5% as it made a major push into the cement market with the £336mln acquisition of Hope Construction Materials.
Hope, which owns 152 concrete plants as well as five quarries, generated revenues of almost £286mln last year and underlying operating profits of £37mln.
The deal is expected to be “double digit accretive” to earnings per share as well as resulting in £10mln of cost savings.
In other acquisition news today (LON:ECK), the secure payments group, is accelerating US growth plans with the US$5.6mln acquisition of Product Support solutions (PSS).
