Bens Creek Group PLC owns and operates the Ben’s Creek metallurgical coal project in West Virginia, USA. The property is set over 10,000 acres in the Central Appalachian Basin with a proven recoverable coal reserve of 2.34 million tonnes and a coal resource of 17.2 million in-place tonnes with the potential for a further 30.9 million tonnes. Bens Creek utilises modern mining methods to produce ‘coal-for-steel’ and not ‘coal-for-power’.
