Iluka Resources Limited (Iluka) is engaged in the exploration, mining, concentration and separation of mineral sands, production of ilmenite, rutile, synthetic rutile and other titaniferous concentrates, zircon and coal. Iluka has mining and processing operations in Western Australia, the Murray Basin (in Victoria) and Virginia, and conducts exploration activities in Australia and internationally. Iluka holds a 51.04% interest in CRL Ltd, a Queensland-based mineral sands company. As of December 31, 2007, the Company’s projects include Murray Basin Stage 2, Victoria/New South Wales; Jacinth-Ambrosia, Eucla Basin, South Australia; Cataby, Western Australia; Waroona, Western Australia, and Cloverdale, Western Australia. On January 15, 2008, the Company disposed of its interest in the Narama Coal joint venture.
