Together with the A$8.76 million from the share purchase plan, Prescient has raised roughly A$11.3 million to develop its deep pipeline of cancer therapies.

The company’s novel, ready-for-the-clinic CellPryme-M is a 24-hour, non-disruptive process during cell manufacturing.

Q-Gen Cell will produce and deliver the OmniCAR cell lines from its Brisbane facility to be used for Prescient's upcoming clinical trials.
“The fact of the matter is there are people walking around now who shouldn’t be alive, but they are because of our trials, which is really rewarding. You don’t get that in investment banking."
The designation brings considerable benefits including guaranteed market exclusivity for seven years and a waiver of Prescription Drug User Fee Act fees for orphan drugs, valued at over US$3.1 million in 2022.
"This patent is a key plank in the protection of the OmniCAR platform, especially in the US, which is the world’s largest healthcare market,” MD and CEO Steven Yatomi-Clarke said.
The new CAR-T agreement for the OmniCAR platform adds to Prescient’s existing and related research program with Peter Mac into Cell Therapy Enhancements.
The company’s goal is to harness OmniCAR’s innate adaptability and control to develop novel cell therapy products for new indications, and improve the cost, time and of effectiveness of delivering cell therapy products.
The company's lead clinical compound blocks an important tumour survival pathway known as Akt.
PTX-200 is well advanced in the clinic with trials moving to phase 2.
