Piedmont Lithium Inc (ASX:PLL) is developing a world-class integrated lithium business in the United States. The results confirm the potential for the Abitibi lithium hub, adding to the emerging northern hub and facilitating downstream processing as the company bolsters its leading position in the North American lithium industry.

Piedmont sold 2.01 million shares for US$130.8 million in funding before costs and discounts, leaving the company well funded to pursue its goal of creating an integrated lithium business in North America.
The company intends to use the proceeds to advance its lithium projects and interests in North America as well as the Ewoyaa project in Ghana.
