Atalaya Mining Copper (LSE:ATYM, TSX:AYM) saw its shares dip just over 5% on Wednesday following the news that major shareholder Trafigura has exited its position, via a secondary placing priced at 915p.
The global commodities trader sold its entire stake for around £154 million through the transactions, selling 16.82 million shares.
As it is a secondary placing, Atalaya will receive no proceeds from the sale, by Trafigura-owned Urion Investment Holdings.#
In London, Atalaya shares are down 5.23%, changing hands at 942.5p.
