IXICO guidance unchanged after Huntington's cancellations

IXICO PLC (LSE:IXI, OTC:PHYOF, FRA:PYPB), a neuroscience imaging and biomarker analytics company, has confirmed its revenue guidance remains unchanged after two clients discontinued Huntington's disease programmes it was supporting.

The AIM-listed company said the cancellations would reduce its contracted order book by around £1.5 million over the next two financial years.

Despite the setback, IXICO's order book remains 21% above its level at the end of the 2025 financial year.

The company, which uses an artificial intelligence platform to support drug development and diagnostics in neurological disorders, described the increase as solid.

IXICO said programme descoping was a normal feature of clinical drug development and was already reflected in its forecasting.

The update follows a stronger first half, in which IXICO secured £8.0 million of new Huntington's programme awards from new and existing clients.

Huntington's disease remains one of the most active and well-funded areas of neuroscience drug development, alongside Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, the company said.

IXICO pointed to a broadening pipeline across neurology, including newer opportunities in what it called TechBio channels.

The board confirmed that its recently upgraded guidance for the 2026 and 2027 financial years remained in place.

It continues to expect to meet or exceed market expectations.
