Invivyd Inc (NASDAQ:IVVD) has dosed the first participants in its LIBERTY Phase 3 trial, a study testing the company's monoclonal antibody VYD2311 for the prevention of COVID-19 against and alongside an mRNA vaccine.
The randomized, double-blind trial is evaluating the safety, tolerability and immune response of VYD2311 on its own, an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine on its own, and VYD2311 given together with a COVID-19 vaccine in healthy adults, the New Haven, Connecticut-based company said. Invivyd described VYD2311 as a vaccine-alternative monoclonal antibody candidate, positioning it as an option for people seeking protection without a conventional vaccine.
Vaalco Energy Inc (NYSE:EGY, LSE:EGY) has restarted production at its Baobab field offshore Côte d'Ivoire after completing a refurbishment of the field's floating production vessel.
The field, on the CI-40 block, is back online following work on the Baobab Ivoirien floating production, storage and offloading vessel, the Houston-based oil and gas producer said. The FPSO refurbishment had taken the field's output offline, and its return restores a producing asset to Vaalco's portfolio.
Cycurion Inc (NASDAQ:CYCU) has completed its acquisition of Secuvant LLC, the developer of the Panoptic cybersecurity platform, through a merger that closed on June 2, the company said.
The McLean, Virginia-based company, which sells AI-driven cybersecurity, IT security and managed services, said the purchase of Secuvant accelerates its growth strategy and brings the Panoptic platform into its product line.
United Natural Foods (NASDAQ:UNFI) shares fell more than 12% after the grocery wholesaler reported quarterly net sales that came in below analyst expectations, even as earnings per share narrowly beat estimates.

Riversgold will retain a 25% free-carried interest through to a decision to mine.
