Small cap wrap: Alvopetro Energy, HIVE Digital Technologies, Abacus Global Management…

HIVE Digital Technologies Ltd (TSX:HIVE, NASDAQ:HIVE, FRA:YO0, BVC:HIVECO) announced that its subsidiary BUZZ High Performance Computing (HPC) has contracted a new fibre optic network overbuild and carrier transport upgrade at its Grand Falls Data Centre in New Brunswick as part of plans to develop the site into a Tier III high-performance computing facility.

The company said the project represents a key infrastructure step in advancing the HIVE New Brunswick campus into a Tier III HPC-enabled data center. HIVE expects to commit approximately $3.1 million over five years toward the initiative.

Alvopetro Energy Ltd (TSX-V:ALV, OTC:ALVOF, FRA:A6Y0) reported higher first quarter revenue, earnings and production as increased natural gas sales volumes in Brazil helped drive record quarterly sales for the company.

The Calgary-based oil and gas producer said total average daily sales reached a record 3,128 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) in the three months ended March 31, up 28% from a year earlier and 9% from the prior quarter.

Abacus Global Management (NYSE:ABX) has reported higher first quarter revenue and earnings and raised its full-year adjusted net income guidance as growth in its longevity-focused investment business continued to drive results.

The Orlando-based financial services company posted first-quarter revenue of $59.4 million, up 35% from $44.1 million a year earlier, driven primarily by growth in its Life Solutions segment.

Solis Minerals Ltd (TSX-V:SLMN, ASX:SLM, OTCQB:SLMFF, FRA:08WA) earlier this week outlined progress at its Brazil Lithium Project, where it has mobilised exploration teams to advance targets ahead of a planned June 2026 drilling campaign.

Chief executive Mitch Thomas said the company had moved quickly to establish a presence on the ground at the Mandacaru and Campo Grande prospects, with a clear 60-day roadmap in place. He explained that near-term activities are focused on securing land access, completing surface mapping and refining drill targets using historical datasets.

European Lithium Ltd (ASX:EUR, OTCQB:EULIF) has extended its exclusivity period with Nasdaq-listed Critical Metals Corp (NASDAQ:CRML) as the two companies work towards finalising documentation for a proposed scheme of arrangement that would see CRML acquire 100% of European Lithium’s issued share capital and listed options.

The companies said mutual due diligence had now been completed, with additional time required to finalise a binding scheme implementation deed (SID) for the proposed transaction.

Resolution Minerals Ltd (ASX:RML, OTCQB:RLMLF, FRA:NC3) earlier this week outlined plans for a significantly expanded Phase 2 drilling campaign at the Golden Gate area of its Horse Heaven Antimony-Tungsten-Gold-Silver Project in Idaho, US, as the company pushes toward a maiden resource target by late 2026 or early 2027.

CEO of US Operations Craig Lindsay told Proactive the company had secured two diamond core drill rigs for a 45,000-foot drilling program comprising around 40 to 45 holes. The campaign follows a 10,000-foot program completed in 2024 that delivered intercepts of up to 250 metres grading more than one gram per tonne gold.

NewPeak Metals Ltd (ASX:NPM, OTC:NPMFF, FRA:NPM) earlier this week confirmed the start of diamond drilling at its Las Opeñas gold project in Argentina, with the company targeting the scale potential of a large gold-dominant polymetallic system in one of the country’s most active mining regions.

Managing director Mark Purcell said the campaign would initially comprise a minimum 2,500 metres of drilling across around nine holes, although the program could be expanded depending on field observations and funding availability.
