Solis Minerals targets June lithium drilling start in Brazil

Solis Minerals targets June lithium drilling start in Brazil

Solis Minerals Mitch Thomas talked with Proactive about the company’s latest progress at its Brazil Lithium Project, where exploration activities are accelerating ahead of a planned June 2026 drilling campaign.

Thomas explained that Solis Minerals has rapidly mobilised its exploration team to site, focusing on key targets at the Mandacaru and Campo Grande prospects in Brazil’s Araçuaí–Salinas Lithium Valley. The current phase of work is centred on securing land access agreements, completing detailed surface mapping and refining drill targets using historical data gathered over the past three years.

He also highlighted the significant advantage provided by previous work conducted by Rio Tinto.

With two priority prospects located just 18 kilometres apart and full concession ownership in place, Solis Minerals is well-positioned to efficiently execute its upcoming program in one of the world’s most active lithium regions.
