Shares of POET Technologies Inc (TSX-V:PTK, NASDAQ:POET, FRA:RI4A) fell more than 46% on Monday morning after Marvell Technology Group Ltd. (NASDAQ:MRVL) cancelled all purchase orders tied to Celestial AI, citing alleged violations of confidentiality obligations.

Marvell provided written notice of the cancellation on April 23, telling POET that it had made disclosures of information related to the purchase orders and shipping details in contravention of its confidentiality obligations.

UK-based stockbroker Cavendish sees almost fifteen-fold upside in 88 Energy Ltd (AIM:88E, ASX:88E, OTCQB:EEENF, FRA:POQ) as the Alaska-focused explorer continues to progress its asset base in Alaska.

The broker, in a note following news of an amendment to its participation agreement with Project Phoenix partner Burgundy Xploration, reiterated a Buy rating and 19.8p target price, compared with a current share price of 1.3p, implying 1,395% upside.

Trillion Energy International Inc. (CSE:TCF, OTCQB:TRLEF, FRA:Z620) is weighing in on the current state of global oil markets, arguing that an unprecedented supply disruption has materially improved the economics of its M47 oil exploration block in southeastern Türkiye.

The Vancouver-based company said the global oil market is facing the largest supply disruption on record, with restricted flows through the Strait of Hormuz removing an estimated 9.1 million barrels per day from global supply — a level the company says surpasses prior shocks, including the Gulf War.

Sonoro Gold Corp (TSX-V:SGO, OTCQB:SMOFF, FRA:23SP) has closed an oversubscribed, non-brokered private placement, raising gross proceeds of C$12.2 million to fund a major drilling campaign at its Cerro Caliche gold project in Sonora, Mexico.

The offering comprised just over 50.8 million units priced at $0.24 per unit, each consisting of one common share and one warrant exercisable at $0.32 for three years from closing. No finder fees were paid in connection with the offering.

Medicus Pharma (NASDAQ:MDCX) said on Monday its chief executive and senior leadership team met with US lawmakers on Capitol Hill to seek support for regulatory and policy measures aimed at advancing its SkinJect therapy for patients with Gorlin syndrome, a rare inherited condition linked to recurrent skin cancers.

The biotech company said the discussions focused on securing orphan drug designation for SkinJect for Gorlin syndrome, registrational investigational new drug approval for affected patients, and support for the rare disease pediatric FDA voucher program.

VivoPower PLC (NASDAQ:VIVO, FRA:51J) said its 41.5-megawatt data center in Mo i Rana, Norway, has been prequalified to provide 30 MW of flexible load to Statnett SF’s ancillary services markets, creating a new revenue stream expected to contribute about $1.9 million in annual EBITDA.

The approval covers two reserve markets. Twelve megawatts were cleared for FCR-D, a fast-response frequency containment reserve requiring automatic load reduction within 10 seconds when Nordic grid frequency falls below 49.9 Hz.

The recent campaign targeted the project’s Mountain, North and South zones and was designed to tighten the geological understanding of the area covered by its initial Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE), published in September 2024.

Revenue for the first quarter of 2026 rose 13% year-on-year, with adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) up 39%, driven by higher-quality revenue and the annualised effect of cost cuts made during 2025.

Tamboran Resources Corporation (NYSE:TBN, ASX:TBN, OTC:TBNRL, FRA:O8R) earlier this week outlined significant progress across its Beetaloo Basin operations following the successful completion of the bulk of a US$198 million capital raising, aimed at accelerating development and advancing toward production.

Chief executive Todd Abbott said the funding round, which was three and a half times oversubscribed in the US, reflected strong institutional backing and growing investor focus on global energy security. He indicated that the raise not only supports the broader Beetaloo strategy but also reinforces Tamboran Resources’ position as a technical leader in the basin, particularly as it moves to complete the Falcon acquisition and expand its working interest.

Provaris Energy Ltd (ASX:PV1, OTC:GBBLF, FRA:WS90) advanced several key workstreams during the March quarter, including its LCO₂ tank program with Yinson, compressed hydrogen shipping partnership with “K” LINE and prototype fabrication work in Norway.

“During the March quarter we advanced our LCO₂ tank program with Yinson into FEED Stage 2 and progressed the approvals pathway toward key mid -2026 milestones. This phase will deliver final FEED-level design inputs, a detailed cost estimate for robotic and laser-welding fabrication, and the data required to support marine class approvals," Provaris managing director and CEO, Martin Carolan, said.
