Oracle Corp (NYSE:ORCL, XETRA:ORC) shares fell about 6% afterhours as it reported a slight revenue miss for the fiscal second quarter.
Oracle reported revenue growth of 14% at $16.1 billion, at the low end of its guidance range of 14% to 16%. This missed Wall Street estimates of $16.15 billion.
GE Vernova (NYSE:GEV) shares added 16.5% on Wednesday at about $730 after the company raised its long-term financial outlook and projected stronger revenue, margins and cash generation through 2028 at its investor update event in New York.
The company now expects $52 billion in revenue and a 20% adjusted EBITDA margin by 2028, up from its prior forecast of $45 billion and a 14% margin.
Ferrari (NYSE:RACE) is likely to face continued valuation pressure as softer shipment expectations and ongoing earnings downgrades weigh on investor sentiment, Jefferies said on Wednesday.
“We trim our 2026 estimates to better reflect RACE’s sustained rate of new model ramp ups next year, which will likely mean reduced shipments in the quarters ahead and greater margin dilution from growing D&A,” analysts wrote.
Nextdoor (NYSE:NXDR) shares surged on Wednesday after activist investor Eric Jackson published a bullish analysis of the neighbourhood-focused social media platform.
Jackson, founder of Toronto-based hedge fund EMJ Capital and known for driving retail momentum in companies like Opendoor Technologies and Better Home & Finance Holding Co, described Nextdoor as “one of the most misunderstood platforms in the market” in a post on X.
Uber Technologies Inc (NYSE:UBER, XETRA:UT8) has introduced physical kiosks that allow travelers to book rides without using its mobile app, debuting at New York’s LaGuardia Airport Terminal C.
The touch-screen kiosks feature large displays, credit card readers, and receipt printers, offering users the ability to select destinations and ride types such as UberX or Comfort.
Abivax SA (NASDAQ:ABVX, EPA:ABVX), a French biotechnology firm, saw its US-listed shares jump more than 11% on rumors it may be acquired by Eli Lilly and Co (NYSE:LLY).
First reported by Reuters, neither Abivax nor Eli Lilly have confirmed the reports. An Eli Lilly spokesperson declined to comment on “business development activity,” while Abivax said it would not comment on market rumors.
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store (NASDAQ:CBRL) shares dropped 4.5% in early Wednesday trading after the restaurant chain reported disappointing first-quarter earnings and lowered its full-year guidance.
For the quarter ended October 31, 2025, the company reported revenue of $797.2 million, missing Wall Street estimates of about $801 million.
Volution shares gained 7% to 654p after the ventilation specialist said trading in the opening months of its new financial year had been “robust”, alongside news of a £75 million Australian buy.
At its AGM, the group reported organic revenue growth of about 5% across all regions, despite what it called challenging market conditions.
CRISM Therapeutics shares fell 12% to 6.93p after the clinical-stage oncology company unveiled a £1 million fundraise at a steep discount to support its phase II trial in glioblastoma.
The placing, handled by SP Angel, saw the company issue 11.1 million new shares at 9p each, about 18% below Friday’s close.
