Just when you thought results season was over, it pulls you back in with results from Frasers, Berkeley Group, Ashtead, Future and perhaps AB Foods, there's also a travel theme with tour operators TUI and On The Beach, along with airport outlet operator SSP.
In the macro data, traders and economists will be sifting through important UK services, retail and housing sectors, along with lots of jobs numbers in the US, capped off by the big non-farm payrolls report at the end of the week.
