Moonpig poised for a spurt in sales, said Jefferies

Moonpig Group PLC (LSE:MOON) enjoyed an uptick in its share price this October, after analysts at investment banking firm Jefferies said it was poised for a spurt in sales.

The bank reiterated its buy rating for the online greeting card retailer after the company held an annual general meeting, where it hosted an upbeat 'fireside chat'.

“Our confidence in the investment story is undimmed,” the broker said at the time of Moonpig's AGM.

“Innovation is extending the group's product advantage, market share continues to grow, and we see clear underpins to support an acceleration in top-line trajectory into double-digits from H2'24."

“The shares have had a good recent run, but we see more to go for given the proven resilience and medium-term growth potential,” Jefferies added.

Moonpig is expected to release its half-year results for the six months through to 31 October on Tuesday 5 December.
