Conroy Gold and Natural Resources PLC shares shone in early trading, climbing 10% to 19.9p, after the company told investors it discovered a new gold target in County Monaghan.

This, Conroy said, alongside a recent discovery of a gold target in County Armagh, has led to the identification of a second gold trend in the Longford-Down Massif.

Trident Royalties PLC (AIM:TRR) noted that construction is going ahead at the Thacker Pass lithium project, where it holds a 60% interest in a gross revenue royalty.

Project operator Lithium Americas Corp (LAC) issued a statement yesterday saying it has been given permission to begin construction in Nevada from the US Bureau of Land Management.

Bens Creek Group PLC (AIM:BEN, OTC:BENCF) told investors that MBU Capital has exercised its right to convert the full outstanding amount under its loan facility into equity.

It comes after an agreement was struck between Bens Creek and MBU, the company’s largest shareholder, as the AIM-quoted firm seeks to ensure it has limited exposure to debt obligations that could impede cash flow prior to its intended start of dividends.

Thor Energy PLC (AIM:THR, OTCQB:THORF, ASX:THR) said EnviroCopper Limited (ECL), in which Thor holds a 30% stake, has commenced an innovative geophysical survey at the Alford West copper-gold project in South Australia.

The Ambient Noise Tomography (ANT) survey is being carried out using the ExoSphere technology by Fleet Space, Thor noted. The technology involves lightweight battery-powered sensors measuring naturally occurring seismic vibrations to detect variations in density of the underlying rock units. This means subsequent drilling can be focused on areas with low-density contrast which have been shown to host oxidised copper mineralisation amenable to potential In-Situ Copper Recovery (ISCR), the company explained.

Celsius Resources Ltd (ASX:CLA, AIM:CLA) continues to receive good news from drilling at the MCB Copper-Gold Project in the Philippines in the form of further shallow and high-grade copper assay results.

The results at the project held by CLA's Philippine subsidiary Makilala Mining Company, Inc continue to point to new positions of shallow mineralisation in line with previous results from drill holes over the last two years, and historical drilling information compiled earlier by Freeport-McMoRan.

Castillo Copper Ltd (ASX:CCZ, LSE:CCZ) has fielded encouraging initial test results on a composite sample from the Fence Gossan Prospect at Broken Hill that confirm rare earth elements (REEs) can be readily separated from clay and potentially beneficiated to a higher-grade concentrate.

Preliminary metallurgical test-work was carried out on a 20-metre composite sample from the prospect in East Zone discovery area of the BHA Project with clays subjected to froth flotation.

Blencowe Resources PLC (LSE:BRES) said it has completed the mining and packaging of both a one-hundred-tonne bulk sample and a 150 kilogramme sample from its flagship Orom-Cross graphite project in Uganda.

Britishvolt has been bought out of administration by Australian firm Recharge Industries, reviving plans for the UK's first electric vehicle battery factory.

Recharge confirmed the takeover in a statement on Monday, adding Britishvolt’s proposed £3.8bn EV battery plant in Northumberland was still on the agenda and likely to create “thousands of green, skilled and local jobs”.

Empire Metals Ltd (AIM:EEE) said it has hit multiple kaolin indications plus a high-grade gold intercept from drilling at its Eclipse-Gindalbie project in Western Australia.

Nine holes were drilled at the site just west of the historical South Gippsland #3 mine, with grades in excess of 20% kaolin reported in four holes while a grade above 5 grams per ton (g/t) was the best result from the two gold holes.
