Lithium Americas is developing one of the world's largest and lowest cost lithium operations. The Company has defined the world's third largest lithium brine resource, and a completed definitive Feasibility Study identified that Lithium Americas' operating cost per tonne of lithium carbonate is expected to be one of the lowest in the industry. Mitsubishi Corporation and Magna International are shareholders in the Company, in addition to both companies having off-take arrangements with Lithium Americas.

News from China indicates that the manufacturing sector had expanded at its fastest pace in eight months
The development comes as the company’s confidence increases due to the recently estimated exploration target range (ETR), confirming the project’s potential to host one of the largest lithium deposits in the US.
An exploration target range has been established for the McDermitt project in the US.
The highest grading lithium intercept from diamond drilling was 14 metres at 2531 ppm from 44 metres.
The project borders advanced development projects and may contain high-grade extensions of the area’s lithium brines.
Assays up to 22 metres at 2187 ppm lithium, including 6 metres at 3113 ppm lithium and 12 metres at 2781 ppm lithium.
Norway plans to go all electric by 2025, while the UK aims to ban sales of diesel and gas cars by 2040.
