The workover will involve setting a cement plug from TD up to 1,150 feet, then running and cementing 4.5-inch casing from 1,150 feet up across the Lyons formation. This work is expected to take about 12 days to complete.

“Our initial exploratory water well program at our Galactica/Pegasus prospects has been very successful with helium being discovered in each of the three wells drilled,” says MD.
The Sammons 315310C well is the first of four wells proposed to be drilled in the Sammons Ranch OGDP, which was approved by the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission earlier this year.

Consulting engineers SIGIT Operating Company has been engaged for the work, which will include a FEED study for an initial processing facility at the Voyager prospect.
The company is focused on rapidly advancing further drill planning and permitting across its key US prospects in 2022, including a mix of exploratory water wells and helium exploration wells.

Shares have been as much as 12% higher after the company landed the first approved drilling application of any type for a helium well in Colorado, USA.
