Matador is kicking off its largest program ever undertaken in May with more than 20,000 metres of diamond drilling.
The systematic auger drilling program, combined with multi-element geochemistry, is a key tool that the company is using to unlock the vast exploration potential at the project.

The program began three months earlier than previous programs and is anticipated to incorporate the first winter exploration drilling undertaken by the company.

At the Angus deposit, Matador has made the first new gold discovery at the Cape Ray project in more than 20 years.
All results from the 2020 exploration season have been received and will be summarised before the company announces the 2021 exploration strategy scheduled for release early next quarter.
