Matador Mining

First to present will be Matador Mining’s executive chairman Ian Murray.

Last week the company kicked off its 2021 exploration program at the Cape Ray Gold Project in Newfoundland, Canada, in what is shaping to be its largest program to date.

This program is aimed at expanding gold mineralisation around known deposits while testing up to nine new greenfield target areas.

The company plans to use an innovative ATV-mounted power-auger multi-element geochemistry drilling program for systematic and rapid definition of advanced targets for follow-up diamond drilling.

Theta Gold Mines

Next in line is Theta Gold Mine’s non-executive chairman Bill Guy who will highlight key investment takeaways and discuss the latest at its flagship Theta Project in South Africa.

The company has progressed strongly during the early part of 2021, delivering key project milestones, funding, the first underground mining reserve and first underground pre-feasibility study.

The team has delivered a maiden underground pre-feasibility study (PFS) based on only 16% of Theta Gold’s 4.5 million ounces of underground gold resource and incorporates only three out of the recorded 43 historical mines across the project area.

Kingston Resources

Lastly, Kingston Resources managing director Andrew Corbett will address the company’s road to production at the 3.6-million-ounce Misima Gold Project in PNG, where a definitive feasibility study has commenced.

Drilling at the project has resumed with positive gold and silver assay results returned from resource drilling at the southern end of the main Umuna orebody ahead of a quarter three resource update.

The company ended the March quarter with a cash balance of $13.5 million.
