South Star Battery Metals Corp is a Canadian battery metals company focused on the acquisition and development of near-term production projects in the Americas. South Star’s Santa Cruz Graphite Mine, located in Southern Bahia, Brazil is the first of a series of industrial and battery metals projects that will be put into production. Santa Cruz Phase 1 operations are fully licensed, permitted and construction-ready with commercial production scheduled for April 2023. South Star’s other project is a previous-producing mine in Alabama, which is located in a developing EV, aerospace and defence hub in the southeastern US. Santa Cruz will be the first new graphite production in the Americas in over a decade, and South Star is executing on it’s plan to create a multi-asset, diversified battery metals company with operations in strategic jurisdictions to meet the energy transition revolution.
