Gascoyne Resources Ltd (ASX:GCY), Predictive Discovery Ltd (ASX:PDI) and PVW Resources LNL have entered trading halts, pending the release of announcements to the ASX.
All three companies are expected to resume trading on October 13, 2021, or when the relevant announcement is released to the market.
Gascoyne's halt is in relation to finalising a material update to its business plan, Predictive Discovery's relates to an update on operations at the Bankan project in Guinea and PVW's is in regard to rare earth exploration results from its Tanami project.

Gascoyne Resources
Gascoyne Resources is an Australian gold mining and exploration company with tenements in the Tier 1 mining jurisdiction of Western Australia.
The company’s flagship asset is the Dalgaranga Gold Project around 65 kilometres northwest from Mt Magnet, which produced more than 77,000 ounces of gold in the 2021 financial year.
In its request to the ASX for the halt, GCY said: "The company requests the trading halt as it completes the finalisation and board approval of a material update to its business plan.
"In addition, at the conclusion of the trading halt, the company also expects to be in a position to provide additional information in respect of the Westgold Resources Ltd announcements regarding its unsolicited intention to make a takeover bid for the company."

Predictive Discovery
Predictive Discovery’s primary focus is its wholly-owned Bankan Project in Guinea’s Siguiri Basin. The flagship project comprises of four tenements encompassing 358 square kilometres that have so far returned consistently promising gold results in ongoing exploration.
In its request to the ASX, PDI said: "The company has received information that a media report is pending relating to the company’s operations at the Bankan project in Guinea and requests a trading halt of its securities to allow it time to prepare an announcement so that the market is fully informed in relation to this issue."
Predictive’s share price target was double to 42 cents following its maiden resource estimate for the Bankan Gold Project. Sprott Equity Research maintained its BUY recommendation and raised the share price target by 21 cents.

PVW Resources
PVW Resources NL (ASX:PVW) is a Western Australian exploration company aiming to deliver growth through exploration success. The company has holdings in the Leonora and Kalgoorlie regions in addition to the Tanami and more recently acquired Bellinue projects.
The company requested the halt "pending an announcement on rare earth exploration results from the Tanami Project on the Northern Territory border".
Recent observations indicate that rare earth mineralisation is present over a 2.2 kilometre-long strike at the Tanami Project. PVW has advanced an airborne magnetic and radiometric survey to identify new rare earth element and gold targets at the project.
