Telit Communications Plc (LON:TCM) has confirmed discussions are underway with Richard Kilsby over his appointment as chairman.
The internet of things company was rocked in August by the resignation of chief executive Oozi Katz after allegations that he was wanted in the US under the name Uzi Katz.

Since then the shares have rallied on reports of bid interest from private equity firms and hit a three-month high last week on speculation over a possible deal.

Kilsby was executive chairman of internet gaming firm 888 for nine years until March 2015.
