Telit Communications Plc (LON:TCM) has announced a partnership deal with Wind River, part of US chip giant Intel Corp (NASDAQ:INTC) to utilise the UK firm’s technology for its device management platform.
In a statement, the AIM-listed firm - a global enabler of the Internet of Things - said the partnership will see the two companies reduce the complexities of IoT device management.

It noted that Wind River's technology makes it easier for companies to capture data on-premise or in the cloud, providing enhanced system analytics and remote device management across infrastructure market segments including aerospace, defence, industrial, medical, networking, and transportation.
Telit added that its deviceWISE platform offers a set of connectivity management, device management, data management, edge, cloud and enterprise ready-to-use connectors and services that reduce the risk and time-to-market of connecting 'things to apps,' by collecting, managing, and analysing critical device data.

Yosi Fait, Telit's interim CEO said: "Through this collaboration with Wind River, we will be able to offer a ready-built platform for developing and deploying device-to-cloud IoT solutions allowing customers to digitally transform their businesses.”
