Tlou Energy Limited (LON:TLOU) highlighted the progress made with the group’s Lesedi coal bed methane (CBM) project, in Botswana, for the quarter ended March 31.
During the period Tlou received a request from the Government of Botswana for the company to make a proposal to develop 100MW of CBM power in the country.
The company also noted the upgrades to the project’s gas reserves, and highlighted previously announced activities.

Omagh-based gold miner Galantas Gold Corp (LON:GAL) is advanced discussions with a lease finance group over equipment to get the first phase of underground mining underway, though it is also now in a dispute with the Northern Ireland police over terrorist protection arrangements. Galantas is also waiting for the outcome of a judicial review into the grant of planning permission for the underground mine. The junior posted a loss of C$1.6mln in 2016.
Hayward Tyler Group PLC (LON:HAYT) says discussions over its debt refinancing with Royal Bank of Scotland remain ongoing and constructive. A deadline for talks over the repayment of £2.4mln of short term banking facilities and the annualised measurement of the financial covenants has also been extended to 31 May.
Miner VAST Resources PLC (LON:VAST) has extended the deadline for the strategic investment by SSCG Africa until 19 May to get an assignment approval from the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe.
DiamondCorp plc( LON:DCP ) has appointed administrators after concluding it is no longer able to continue trading as a going concern. In accordance with statutory requirements, the notice of intention to appoint administrators will expire 5 business days after today following which an appointment of administrators can take place within a further 5 business days thereafter if the financial status of the company has not changed.
European Metals Holdings Ltd (LON:EMH) re-iterated it will start work soon on a definitive study for its Cinovec lithium project in the Czech Republic following the recent pre-feasibility report. EMH added it closed the quarter to March with cash holdings of A$1.44mln.
Wolf Minerals Ltd (LON:WLFE) said shutdowns of its Hemerdon tungsten mine near Plymouth over January and February have had a positive impact with improved throughput rates in the crusher, DMS and refinery area.
This has also resulted in a higher grade tungsten concentrate being produced, though more work is required on the larger vibrating screens and in the refinery area said interim managing director Richard Lucas.

Ferrum Crescent Limited (LON:FCR) said it would start exploration work immediately on its Toral lead/zinc project in Spain with a series of shallow drill holes covering a minimum 1,400m metres. The group yesterday pulled out of its Moonlight iron ore project in South Africa. Cash holdings at the end of March were A$725,000.

Thor Mining PLC (LON:THR) executive chairman Mick Billing described the three months ended March 31 as a “very good period” as it continued to progress the Pilot Mountain project, in Nevada, which comprises Desert Scheelite, Gunmetal, Garnet and Good Hope deposit.
“The very positive results at Pilot Mountain demonstrate the significant and increasing value of this project and we are very keen to see the outcome of the maiden resource estimate, now commissioned, for the Garnet deposit,” Billing said.
“When added to the existing Desert Scheelite resource estimate we anticipate building a substantial resource inventory, with ample capacity for significant further growth.”
