Risers & Fallers: Asian Growth, Ferrexpo, Premier Oil, Red24, Sierra Rutile, Vedanta

SolGold's shares surged after it announced a fund-raising, which is not the way things usually go, MySQUAR's shares tumbled after it announced it was issuing shares.

RISERS

Red24 PLC (LON:REDT), up 22%. Crisis assistance company confirmed it in discussions that could lead to an offer being made for the company.

Asian Growth Properties Limited (LON:AGP), up 18%. The China-focused property development and investment company is likely to record a year-on-year increase in net profit for the first half of the year.

Ferrexpo PLC (LON:FXPO), up 18%. The group has made the final scheduled repayment of its US$420 million pre-export finance facility that has been amortising in equal instalments over the past 24 months.

FALLERS

Premier Oil PLC (LON:PMO), down 7.1%. Premier's lending group has agreed to a further deferral of the test of Premier's financial covenants while discussions around the Company's existing debt arrangements continue.

Sierra Rutile Limited (LON:SRX), down 6.2%. The company has recommended acceptance of the bid from Iluka Resources.

Vedanta Resources PLC (LON:VED), down 5.1%. The fiscal first quarter results showed declines of more than 30%, year-on-year, in oil & gas and zinc revenues.

RISERS

SolGold plc (LON:SOLG), up 20%. The shares surged to 5.76p as it announced plans to raise US$21.5mln placing shares at eight cents a share.

BMR Group PLC (LON:BMR), up 19%. The metal recovery specialist now expects to enter into the anticipated sale and purchase agreement with the private South African group later this week.

Senior PLC (LON:SNR), up 12%. Half-year results from the engineer were not as bad as feared, with adjusted profit before tax down 23% year-on-year on a constant currency basis.

FALLERS

MySQUAR Limited (LON:MYSQ), down 30%. Shares took a tumble as the Myanmar-language social media company said it plans to raise £455,000 by placing shares at 3.5p each.

Alba Mineral Resources PLC (LON:ALBA), down 10%. The Horse Hill participant’s results disappointed, with the company losing £200,118 in the six months to the end of May, compared to a loss of £232,594 the year before.

SerVision PLC (LON:SEV), down 7.1%. Experienced corporate financier Antony Legge has joined the board of the digital security systems firm.

Ascent Resources PLC (LON:AST), up 50%. The company and its partners in Slovenia have signed the conditional agreements necessary to allow commercial gas production to commence as early as January 2017.

Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) PLC (LON:EOG), up 11%. The company has provided detailed technical information on the recently awarded licensing options 16/20 and 16/21.

RedstoneConnect PLC (LON:REDS), up 8.9%. The provider of technology and services for smart buildings and commercial spaces has been awarded a five-year managed services contract valued at £12 million.

FALLERS

Real Good Food PLC (LON:RGD), down 13%. The food ingredients firm moved back into the black last year but the market was evidently expecting sweeter results.

Gable Holdings Inc (LON:GAH), down 12%. Non-executive director Andrew Trott has resigned from the board.

Northbridge Industrial Services (LON:NBI), down 9.6%. Underlying earnings per share in the first half of the year fell 16% on a constant currency basis.
