Some significant share movers at around 3.15pm on Tuesday

RISERS

Petroneft Resources (LON:PTR), up 17.72% as it announced the successful completion of a three well development programme on the southern extension of Arbuzovskoye in Licence 61 and the addition of a fourth well based on the positive results.

Caledonia Mining (LON:CMCL), up 9.87% as the operator of the Blanket mine in Zimbabwe said the dividend had increased.

Alba Mineral Resources plc (LON: ALBA), up 2.78% as it was one of the group of small-cap oilers involved in the Horse Hill development near Gatwick, which was given a boost by the Oil and Gas Authority, which has allowed them to retain the whole 55-square mile area for up to another two years.

FALLERS

Chariot Oil & Gas Ltd (LON:CHAR), down 4.86% as it held its AGM and said in a statement the past year had continued to pose challenges for the sector.

Shawbrook PLC (LON:SHAW), the challenger bank, along with others in the sector continue to get a bashing as worries percolate about financial services after the Brexit vote. Shares fell 14.44% to 138.10p.

Barratt Developments (LON:BDEV) was Footsie' biggest laggard, down 7.58% to 358p as worries continue over the housing market.

RISERS

TechFinancials Inc (LON:TECH), up 18.18% as it pleased the market with an AGM statement on progress.

AURASIAN Minerals plc (LON:AUM), up 10% as it revealed it had finished d due diligence on the Gokcanica Gold project and decided to exercise the option agreement with Rockstone Group LLC, where it can earn up to an 80% interest in the licenses in Southern Serbia.

Kibo Mining PLC (LON:KIBO), up 7.32% as it reassured investors that, although there’s been a short delay in the ongoing process to merge its Tanzanian gold interests with Lake Victoria Gold Ltd, the deal is still on.

FALLERS

House builder Persimmon (LON:PSN) dropped 5.09% as it suffers from a fall in confidence in the UK property market after the Brexit vote. Despite that, the group said trading through the first half of the year had been strong.

Amec Foster Wheeler PLC (LON:AMFW), down 6.38%, as it told investors it had kicked off work on an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for Louisville Gas and Electric Company (LG&E) and Kentucky Utilities Company (KU) for a coal combustion residuals (CCR) - otherwise known as coal ash - treatment project in Trimble County, Kentucky.

Engineer Hayward Tyler Group PLC (LON:HAYT) , shed almost 6% to 78.5p despite it posting higher profits in the year to end March.

Hayward said pre-tax trading profit rose 18% to £5.1mln on a 27% increase in revenue to £61.6mln. The group lifted its dividend per share by 5% to 1.38p.

RISERS

Mariana Resources PLC (LON:MARL), up 10.44% to 50.25p as more attractive drill results from the flagship Hot Maden gold project in Turkey were released.

Among the highlights were 83.3 metres at 15.9 grams per tonne gold and 1.57% copper, 95.5 metres at 32.1 grams gold and 3.3% copper, and 23 metres at 16.1 grams and 1/1% copper.

Tlou Energy Ltd (LON:TLOU), up 15.15% to 4.75p as it was selected to develop a CBM (coal bed methane) power plant at its 100% owned Lesedi CBM Project, the most advanced of its kind in the country, by Botswana's Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board.

Velocys PLC (LON:VLS) , up 5.45% to 29p as it emerged Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich had raised his stake in the gas- to-liquids group.

FALLERS

Standard Life (LON:SL.), down 14.19% to 66.5p as the market reacted to news it had suspended trading on its UK property fund amid Brexit worries.

Gulf Marine Services Ltd plc (LON:GMS) down almost 16% to 39.5p as it warned investors on 2016 earnings. It is now expecting 2016 EBITDA to be between US$ 100 and 110 million, equivalent to an EBITDA margin in the high 50% range, with 2016 earnings per share of 14.5 - 15.5 cents.

Imagination Technologies (LON:IMG) down 7.49% to 169.75p as the graphic chip-maker fell into the red after a slowdown in its core semiconductor market.

Imagination said adjusted operating losses from continuing operations in the year to April 30 were £16.5mln versus a profit of £29.8mln a year ago.
