Arizona Gold & Silver reports broad gold mineralization in three Perry Zone infill holes

Arizona Gold & Silver Inc (TSX-V:AZS, OTCQB:AZASF, FRA:A9J0) has reported additional drill results from its Philadelphia gold-silver project in Mohave County, Arizona, with three infill holes intersecting broad zones of gold mineralization containing higher-grade intervals within the Perry Zone.

Hole PC26-171B returned 90.71 metres grading 1.45 grams per tonne gold and 3.9 g/t silver from 197.21 metres. Within that interval, 33.28 metres graded 3.02 g/t gold and 7.4 g/t silver, including 9.94 metres at 5.58 g/t gold and 8.1 g/t silver.

PC26-168 intersected 30.91 metres grading 1.99 g/t gold and 0.4 g/t silver from 235.15 metres. The interval included 15.15 metres at 2.91 g/t gold and 0.1 g/t silver, including 9.02 metres at 3.79 g/t gold.

PC26-170 returned 59.19 metres grading 1.02 g/t gold and 4.4 g/t silver from 211.23 metres, including 21.48 metres at 2.14 g/t gold and 6.0 g/t silver. A higher-grade section of 2.77 metres graded 5.34 g/t gold and 7.6 g/t silver.

The company reported that the holes were designed to test the up-dip and strike continuity of previously identified Perry Zone mineralization and to further define the broader mineralized envelope surrounding its higher-grade core. True thickness is estimated at approximately 60% of the reported drilled lengths.

“These results provide further evidence of the scale and continuity of mineralization at Philadelphia,” Arizona Gold & Silver CEO Mike Stark said in a statement.

He added that a strategic investment from Evolution Mining has allowed the company to expand drilling to 24-hour operations, while Arizona Gold & Silver is sourcing a second drill.

Arizona Gold & Silver’s Senior Vice President Exploration Lex Lambeck said that the results continue to show broad, continuous gold mineralization with higher-grade intervals within wider mineralized zones. He added that the company is using the results to guide deeper drilling.

The company has now advanced drilling beneath the Red Hills bulk-tonnage target to test the projected down-dip continuation of the Perry Zone. Holes PC26-172 and PC26-173 have been completed and are awaiting assays, while PC26-174 is in progress.

Arizona Gold & Silver reported that the current program is stepping progressively down dip to evaluate the Perry Zone at depth and its relationship with the broader mineralized envelope and a coincident CSAMT geophysical anomaly beneath Red Hills.
