Tertiary Minerals sees more high grades at Mushima North project

Tertiary Minerals PLC (AIM:TYM, OTC:TTIRF, FRA:TMU) told investors that drilling at its Mushima North project in Zambia has reinforced the case for a higher-grade silver-copper zone while supporting the broader near-surface exploration target at Target A1.

The AIM-listed explorer completed 3,639 metres across 39 holes, with preliminary pXRF results including 15 metres grading 0.53% copper from 100 metres, including 7 metres at 0.77%. Other intersections included 8 metres at 0.62% copper and 4 metres at 0.68%.

Infill drilling also returned broader mineralised intervals, including 65 metres at 0.23% copper and 83 metres at 0.16%. Tertiary said the work continued to support its existing exploration target of 15–30 million tonnes grading 40–60 grams per tonne silver equivalent.

Silver values measured by pXRF reached as high as 408 g/t in the higher-grade zone, although the company stressed that silver readings from the technique are less reliable and remain subject to certified laboratory analysis.

Samples are now being analysed by ALS Global in South Africa, with results expected in the coming weeks. Initial metallurgical testwork is also due to begin imminently as Tertiary targets a JORC Mineral Resource Estimate before the end of 2026.
