Kingfisher Mining Ltd (ASX:KFM) strengthened its Broken Hill copper-gold and base metals portfolio during the June 2026 quarter, completing 24 reverse circulation drill holes for 2,962 metres across Copper Blow, Stephens Trig and Allendale.
The campaign was led by a 10-hole, 1,576-metre program at the flagship Copper Blow Copper-Gold Project, where subsequent assays confirmed broad, shallow zones of high-grade mineralisation and supported continued work toward a maiden mineral resource estimate.
Best results included:
- 26 metres at 2.57% copper and 0.75 g/t gold from 73 metres, including 13 metres at 4.07% copper and 1.20 g/t gold;
- 43 metres at 1.32% copper and 0.32 g/t gold from surface, including 17 metres at 2.46% copper and 0.60 g/t gold; and
- 58 metres at 0.67% copper and 0.15 g/t gold from 165 metres, including 11 metres at 1.01% copper and 0.27 g/t gold.

Copper Blow moves closer to resource definition
Kingfisher has now completed 16 RC holes for 2,506 metres at Copper Blow since acquiring the project.
The latest drilling targeted infill and extensions to the approximately 600-metre mineralised system and demonstrated continuity across wide zones of copper-gold mineralisation in the North Zone.
Copper Blow is around 20 kilometres southeast of Broken Hill and is one of Kingfisher’s most advanced projects in the region.
Its potential development pathway is supported by a mining and processing cooperation agreement with Broken Hill Mines Ltd (ASX:BHM) (Broken Hill Mines Ltd (ASX:BHM)), which could provide access to existing regional infrastructure and reduce future capital requirements.
Regional drilling builds Broken Hill pipeline
Kingfisher also completed maiden drilling at the Stephens Trig silver-lead-zinc prospect, with five holes drilled for 584 metres.
The program tested a 1.5-kilometre lead-zinc geochemical anomaly beneath alluvial cover and was designed to validate historical drilling while improving the company’s understanding of the underexplored mineralised system.
At Allendale, nine holes were completed for 802 metres, targeting extensions to historically defined high-grade silver-lead-zinc mineralisation across a prospective 2.5-kilometre strike.
Samples from both Stephens Trig and Allendale have been submitted for laboratory analysis, with results pending.
Wellington survey delayed
At the 100%-owned Wellington Copper-Gold Project in the Macquarie Arc, technical issues with UAV equipment delayed a planned airborne geophysical survey.
Kingfisher said the survey would begin once the equipment was operational.
The project is about 15 kilometres from the Boda-Kaiser porphyry copper-gold deposits, while its tenure has recently been renewed for a further six years.
Funding position
Kingfisher ended the quarter with A$1.157 million in cash.
Including its listed investments in Black Cat Syndicate Ltd (ASX:BC8) and Dreadnought Resources Ltd (ASX:DRE, OTC:DRDNF), the company’s cash and investments were valued at approximately A$2.486 million at June 30, 2026.
Exploration and evaluation expenditure totalled A$409,000 during the quarter.
