Venture Life Group (AIM:VLG) shares jumped 9% to 61.5p after the consumer healthcare group announced the acquisition of two US women's health brands, FemiClear and CUROXEN, for up to $28 million.
The brands, bought from Austin-based OrganiCare Nature's Sciences, generated combined net revenues of $12.1 million in the 12 months to 31 March 2026, up 29.1% year on year, with distribution across Walmart, Walgreens, CVS and Target.
FemiClear addresses gynaecological conditions, including bacterial vaginosis, genital herpes, thrush and urinary tract infections, while CUROXEN provides infection prevention for wounds and mouth sores. FemiClear accounts for approximately 98% of combined revenues.
The initial cash consideration of $23 million will be funded from existing resources, with up to $5 million of additional deferred payments contingent on trading performance through to December 2026.
Venture Life said the acquisition establishes immediate scale in the US market and gives the group a foothold in a $700 million US feminine treatment retail opportunity.
"We believe Femiclear will sit well within Venture Life’s women’s health franchise, expanding the company’s presence in this market," said broker Cavendish, reiterating its 'buy' call and 150p price target.
"The deal will also provide Venture Life with a US platform from which to launch and grow existing brands in this important market."
