Uber Technologies Inc (NYSE:UBER, XETRA:UT8) has increased its investment in Lucid Group Inc (NASDAQ:LCID) and expanded its vehicle purchase commitment, signaling a stronger push into autonomous ride-hailing, according to Bank of America.

The ride-hailing company will invest an additional $200 million in Lucid, bringing its total investment to $500 million, while raising its commitment to purchase more than 35,000 vehicles from the electric vehicle maker.

Autodesk Inc (NASDAQ:ADSK) shares climbed almost 4% to around $237 on Wednesday after analysts at Jefferies initiated coverage of the software company with a ‘Buy’ rating and a price target of $300.

In its initiation note, Jefferies described Autodesk as a “durable double-digit grower” supported by strong fundamentals, including high operating margins of around the high-30% range and a capital-light subscription-based model.

Shares of American Eagle Outfitters Inc. (NYSE:AEO) rose 6.5% on Wednesday morning after the retailer launched a new summer campaign featuring its partnership with actress Sydney Sweeney, expanding a marketing collaboration that has drawn both attention and controversy.

The campaign centers on a broad denim push, including more than 200 shorts styles and over 850 new seasonal items, with a focus on jean shorts, the company said in a statement.

Snap Inc (NYSE:SNAP) shares added more than 7% on Wednesday morning after the social media company unveiled plans to cut about one-sixth of its global workforce, a move aimed at boosting efficiency and accelerating its push toward profitability.

In a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the Snapchat app operator said it intends to reduce its full-time headcount by approximately 16%, or 1,000 employees, worldwide.

Graphene Manufacturing Group Ltd (TSX-V:GMG, OTCQX:GMGMF) said on Wednesday its graphene aluminium-ion battery technology has demonstrated improved performance metrics, including the ability to charge in as little as six minutes.

The company, working with the University of Queensland under a joint development agreement with mining major Rio Tinto and with support from the Battery Innovation Center in the US, said its G+A Cells showed gains in energy density and fast-charging capability compared with lithium titanate oxide (LTO) batteries.

Iofina PLC (AIM:IOF, OTC:IOFNF) shares rose as much as 12% in morning trading after the iodine producer reported record first-quarter output and lifted its first-half production guidance, citing new capacity and unusually favourable operating conditions.

The company produced 178.9 metric tonnes of crystalline iodine from its eight IOsorb plants in Oklahoma in the first quarter of 2026, up 44% from 124.1 metric tonnes in the same period last year.
