Jefferies sees the refresh as a “widely cited catalyst” that could unlock meaningful incremental revenue, particularly through the introduction of biddable performance tiles, or auction-based ad units allowing content partners to bid for prominent Home Screen placement based on outcomes such as app opens or subscriptions.

Biogen Inc (NASDAQ:BIIB, XETRA:IDP) will acquire Apellis Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ:APLS) for $41 per share in cash, in a deal valued at approximately $5.6 billion, it was announced on Tuesday.

Apellis shareholders will also receive a nontransferable contingent value right (CVR) worth up to $4 per share if certain global sales milestones for SYFOVRE are achieved.

The Trinidad-focused company said it could breach net senior funded debt and debt service coverage covenants as of 31 December this year, which could render its bank debt immediately repayable, while a working capital deficit of $15.4 million at the year end leaves limited headroom.
