Tony Sage’s recent meeting with Donald Trump Jr. in Singapore highlights how a once-obscure rare earths project in southern Greenland could become increasingly important in the global race to secure critical minerals supply chains.
Sage, the CEO of European Lithium Ltd (ASX:EUR, OTCQB:EULIF), the owner of Critical Metals Corp, sat down with Trump Jr. to discuss the potential for the Tanbreez Rare Earths Project to help break China’s dominance over heavy rare earth elements. While the conversation was informal, it reflects the growing convergence between private capital, geopolitical strategy and the mining sector as Western governments scramble to secure supply of minerals essential to modern technology and defence systems.
Terrain Minerals Ltd (ASX:TMX, OTC:TMXAF, FRA:T4Y) has started a follow-up air-core drilling campaign at its 100%-owned Lort River Project near Esperance in Western Australia, as it looks to build on earlier high-grade rare earth results and test the scale of a newly defined clay-hosted target.
Northstar Gold Corp. (CSE:NSG) announced that it has extended the known high-grade polymetallic copper-gold-silver-molybdenum system at its Cam Copper Mine near Kirkland Lake, Ontario, with new drill results showing significant down-plunge continuity and strong metal grades.
The seven-hole, 1,204-metre definition drilling program was completed in December 2025 to support preparation of a National Instrument 43-101 technical report and mineral resource estimate by Micon International Limited. The study will evaluate the reasonable prospects for eventual economic extraction at the Cam Copper Surgical Mining Project.

374Water Inc (NASDAQ:SCWO, FRA:8LL) said on Thursday it has received a purchase order from Garney Construction tied to a municipal project in Olathe, Kansas, marking a commercial step in deploying its technology to destroy PFAS-contaminated biosolids.
The order triggers a $2.3 million invoice and payment to the North Carolina-based waste treatment technology company and advances the next phase of the project, which involves construction and integration work led by Garney Construction.
Ideal Power Inc (NASDAQ:IPWR, FRA:5ILA) is moving steadily toward commercialization of its B-TRAN-enabled products, following a series of strategic partnerships and agreements. Last month, the company announced a multi-year cooperation with Lazzen to design and sell circuit protection products, including solid-state circuit breakers, battery disconnect units, and EV contactors, with Lazzen’s first B-TRAN-enabled breaker expected to target AI data center customers. The company also signed a letter of intent with an Asian power module manufacturer to produce and distribute B-TRAN-based power modules globally, while engagements with Stellantis on potential EV contactor programs are advancing, with key deliverables expected by mid-2026.
With a growing patent portfolio now comprising 100 issued B-TRAN patents worldwide, a clean capital structure and no long-term debt, Ideal Power is financially well-positioned to fund its growth initiatives after a $12.6 million capital raise earlier this year. In this interview, CEO David Somo discusses his first quarter on the job, the company’s path to commercialization, and the strategies driving B-TRAN adoption across key verticals such as data centers, battery energy storage, and electric vehicles.
BioVie Inc (NASDAQ:BIVI, NASDAQ:BIVIW) announced that an abstract from its SUNRISE-PD study evaluating its lead candidate bezisterim (NE3107) for Parkinson’s disease has been accepted for presentation at the AD/PD 2026 Advances in Science & Therapy annual meeting.
The conference is scheduled to take place March 17 to 21, 2026, in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The maiden diamond drill hole, L3SRD003, intersected chalcopyrite, magnetite, pyrite and molybdenite across multiple intervals from about 190 metres depth to the end of the hole at 600 metres, with mineralisation remaining open at depth. The project sits in a region that hosts several large IOCG-style deposits, including the Candelaria mine about 65 kilometres away.
