Market movers: Bright Mind Biosciences, Sandisk, Under Armour, OPT…

Instil Bio (NASDAQ:TIL) shares plummeted 46% to about $7 after the company announced its decision to discontinue development of its lead clinical assets AXN-2510 and AXN-27M and to terminate its partnership with ImmuneOnco.

Analysts at Baird downgraded the stock to ‘Neutral’ on the update. The firm cut its price target to $7 from $180, roughly in line with Instil’s cash value.

Lucid Group Inc (NASDAQ:LCID), Uber Technologies Inc (NYSE:UBER, XETRA:UT8) and Nuro have unveiled a new premium electric robotaxi at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026, and announced the start of autonomous on-road testing in the San Francisco Bay area.

The vehicle, based on Lucid’s all-electric Gravity SUV, is designed to carry up to six passengers and features an Uber-designed in-cabin experience with interactive screens, climate and seat controls, music, and options to contact support or request stops. The robotaxi also provides real-time visualization of its surroundings and planned maneuvers.

Sandisk (NASDAQ:SNDK) on Tuesday unveiled a major rebranding of its popular WD_Black solid-state drive (SSD) family at the CES 2026 tech show, renaming the lineup under a new brand called Sandisk Optimus.

The announcement sent Sandisk shares soaring more than 23% in early trading.

Oklo (NYSE:OKLO) shares continued to move higher on Tuesday, after the US federal government announced a $2.7 billion program to expand domestic uranium-enrichment capacity.

Shares added almost 3% at about $91, building on an almost 15% surge on Monday. The stock has surged 205% in the last 12 months.

Shares of Bright Minds Biosciences Inc (NASDAQ: DRUG, CSE:DRUG) jumped almost 25% after the company announced positive topline results from its Phase 2 BREAKTHROUGH clinical trial of BMB-101 in adults with drug-resistant Absence Seizures and Developmental and Encephalopathic Epilepsies (DEE).

The open-label, multicenter study evaluated 24 patients, exceeding the original target of 20, and included both a 4-week baseline period and subsequent titration and maintenance phases.

Under Armour Inc (NYSE:UA) shares rose as much as 7% before trading flat at about $5.40 after Fairfax Financial Holdings expanded its position in the sports apparel company.

Regulatory filings show that as of December 30, Canada-based Fairfax, already a 10% owner, had acquired nearly 42 million Under Armour shares, representing an estimated 22% stake.

Digi Power X Inc (NASDAQ:DGXX, TSX-V:DGX) has reported a sharp strengthening of its financial position as it advances its transition into AI-focused energy and data centre infrastructure, underpinned by a growing balance sheet and the rollout of its modular Tier III platform.

The company said it held approximately US$100 million in cash, digital assets and deposits as of January 2026, up from about US$8 million a year earlier, marking a 1,150% increase in liquidity year over year.

Ocean Power Technologies Inc (NYSE-A:OPTT) announced that it has been awarded a contract valued at more than $5 million to deploy and operate multiple PowerBuoy systems in support of a US Coast Guard mission under the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

The project involves the near-term delivery of four maritime surveillance–equipped PowerBuoy platforms off the coast of San Diego.

Arizona Gold & Silver Inc (TSX-V:AZS, OTCQB:AZASF) has announced new drill results from its Philadelphia project in Arizona, reporting assay results from core hole PC25-158 that intersected a broad zone of gold and silver mineralization.

The company said the hole returned a total mineralized interval of 60.37 metres grading 4.36 grams per ton (g/t) gold and 6.38 g/t silver, including a higher-grade interval of 4.33 metres at 19.37 g/t gold and 19.36 g/t silver.
