Alaska Air Group (NYSE:ALK) reduced its third quarter earnings guidance on Monday, citing elevated fuel costs and operational challenges during the summer, which included weather and air traffic control issues.
The air carrier said it now expects its adjusted earnings per share for the quarter to come in at the low end of its previous $1 to $1.40 forecast.
Intel Corp (NASDAQ:INTC, ETR:INL) shares moved higher after the chipmaker announced a reduction in its full-year 2025 adjusted operating expense target, following the sale of a majority stake in its Altera programmable chip unit.
In a filing, Intel said it now expects non-GAAP operating expenses of $16.8 billion for 2025, down from its previous forecast of $17 billion.
CoreWeave (NASDAQ:CRWV) revealed on Monday that it has signed a $6.3 billion initial order with Nvidia Corp (NASDAQ:NVDA, ETR:NVD), in which Nvidia will purchase CoreWeave’s excess cloud computing capacity.
The order, which requires Nvidia to purchase any unsold capacity through April 13, 2032, builds on an April 2023 agreement between the two companies, Reuters reported.
Chegg (NYSE:CHGG) shares moved lower after it was revealed that the educational technology platform has agreed to pay $7.5 million to settle Federal Trade Commission (FTC) claims that it made it difficult for consumers to cancel recurring subscriptions.
The FTC alleged that Chegg buried cancellation options on its website and imposed a confusing, cumbersome process, with internal communications indicating the company was aware of the difficulty.

Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) shares gained nearly 6% to about $418 in early Monday trading after a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing revealed that company CEO Elon Musk bought 2.57 million Tesla shares on Friday, at prices between $371.38 to $396.54 per share, valued at about $1 billion.
Following the transaction, Musk now owns 509,362,808 Tesla shares.
Tiziana Life Sciences Ltd (NASDAQ:TLSA) announced that it has been awarded a US Department of Defense (DoD) research grant to advance its intranasal anti-CD3 therapy in traumatic spinal cord injury (SCI).
The grant will support a three-year study examining the therapy in the acute phase of SCI, focusing on patients who present immediately following injury.

S4 Capital PLC (LSE:SFOR, OTC:SCPPF) shares fell back towards all-time lows on Monday after Sir Martin Sorrell's digital advertising group reported a fall in first-half revenues and profits, though full-year earnings are still expected to be "broadly" in line with last year.
The company said net revenue for the first six months of 2025 dropped 12.7% on a reported basis to £328.2 million, with like-for-like revenues down 10%.
Shares in Genflow Biosciences PLC (LSE:GENF, OTCQB:GENFF) climbed 10% on Monday after the London-listed biotech announced talks with two major animal health companies to explore the use of its longevity research in pets.
The company, which is the only quoted group in Europe focused on ageing, said the confidentiality agreements will allow it to exchange data and begin talks over potential collaborations.
