SoundHorn AI (NASDAQ:SOUN) has agreed to acquire Interactions, a provider of conversational AI and customer service automation, in a deal analysts at Wedbush called “another smart step in the right direction.”

“We believe this was a smart strategic move by SoundHorn that will increase choice, flexibility, and scale for its customers and will better position the company to meet this transformational market shift coming towards more agentic interactions while broadening its customer portfolio,” the analysts wrote in a note.

Abbvie Inc (NYSE:ABBV) shares moved higher after the pharma company announced it has secured extended patent protection for its blockbuster autoimmune drug RINVOQ (upadacitinib).

It said in a regulatory filing that it has reached settlements with all generic manufacturers that had filed applications to produce generic versions of RINVOQ, effectively extending US patent protection until April 2037, assuming pediatric exclusivity is granted.

Delta Air Lines Inc (NYSE:DAL) shares dipped more than 4% to about $59 in midday trading on Thursday after the air carrier said its third quarter revenue is projected to increase 2% to 4% year over year compared with its previous forecast of flat to up 4%.

Analysts expected 2.3% growth on average, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

Centene Corp (NYSE:CNC) shares gained 12% to about $35 in late-morning trading Thursday after the health insurer’s CEO Sarah London told the Deutsche Bank Healthcare conference the company’s preliminary data for quality ratings for Medicare Advantage showed a slightly higher percentage of members in four-star plans.

London also mentioned Centene’s stronger-than-expected Medicaid results in July and August, which support better results in the second half of the year.

Wearable Devices (Nasdaq: WLDS) shares continued to power higher in early Thursday trading, surging 72% to about $9 after the provider of AI-powered touchless sensing wearables announced plans to raise about $4 million in an equity financing price at $4 per share.

The company said it intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for working capital and general corporate purposes.

Oracle Corp (NYSE:ORCL, ETR:ORC)’s market capitalization is approaching $1 trillion after its stock price soared 36% on Wednesday as gains in enterprise software maker’s AI cloud business powered the company’s latest financial results.

Oracle said it now expects its cloud infrastructure revenue to reach $144 billion in fiscal 2030, up from $10.3 billion in 2025.

Shares in Distribution Finance Capital (LSE:DFCH) climbed as much as 10% in early trading on Thursday after the specialist bank posted a sharp rise in first-half profits and said full-year earnings would materially exceed market expectations.

The group, which provides working capital to UK dealers and manufacturers, reported pre-tax profit of £9 million for the six months to June, up 20% on the same period last year.

Shares in Haydale Graphene Inds PLC (LSE:HAYD, OTC:HDGHF) jumped 11% on Thursday after the advanced materials group struck a strategic collaboration with Interfloor, Europe’s largest manufacturer of carpet underlay.

The deal will see Haydale’s graphene-enabled JustHeat inserts integrated into Interfloor’s flooring systems, with new ready-to-install heating products due to launch in the second half of 2026.
